Meet KAISERDISCO: New EP on Terminal M next week!

Kicking off the Terminal M releases of 2010 is 'The Early Bird EP' by Hamburg's newcomer techno darlings, KAISERDISCO.

Frederic Berger & Patrick Buck first met while producing their respective projects for the label HI FREAKS, and after discovering a strong creative connection between each other they formed KAISERDISCO. Their first release in December 2008 topped Beatport charts for well over a month and earned them a place in the Beatport Top Selling Minimal Tracks of 2008, as well as the rapt attention and support of Len Faki, Technasia, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire and of course... Monika Kruse!

Since then KAISERDISCO have been hammering out consistently top-notch releases on labels like Micro.fon and My Best Friend, and now their first EP for Terminal M.

'The Early Bird EP' opens with the shadowy and atmospheric "Dark Orbit". Occasional dashes of warm synth give this otherwise eerie techno track a nice club feel, with plenty of heavy buzzing build-ups to keep the dance floor cooking! The title track "The Early Bird" is next, a nice techhouse number that will work nicely in any DJ set! Chattering vocal snippets are layered over a deep groove with plenty of lush audio textures. "Smoke City" rounds out the EP with big claps and lots of dense rolling bass to keep the groove going. Smooth but thick and clubby at the same time. You can't help but move your dancing feet!

You can listen to snippets of the tracks here on our website, or at our Myspace page :)

Changes of Perception 3rd Remix Edition is NOW AVAILABLE

All good things come in threes! Here comes the third and final Remix edition from the Monika Kruse album Changes of perceptions that she co-produced with Gregor Tresher. Once Again the Remixers names read like the techno scenes, who’s is who: Heartthrob, Sierra sam and Luca Morris & Paul C remixed the tracks ’Hope ’ and ’Spank Me Later’.

Heartthrob’s Remix of ’Hope’ is a true delicacy for all techno Gourmets. Minus wonder child created a distinguished Track that is coined through its dark mood and the typical heartthrob Bassline. A lot of tension is created through the sophisticated tweaking of sounds. Hope - Heartthrob remix is a track that is ambitious and club friendly alike. Luca Morris aka Microdynamic is the new shooting star from Italy. Like Heartthrob he & Paul C interpreted ’Hope’ as well and created a track with a funky and housey bassline. In addition with Monika Kruse’s vocal samples this track makes everybody shake their hips. The melody with its deep toms, which not even a Jens Zimmermann could have created in a better way, qualifies this track as a definite dance floor bomb. Sierra Sam’s remix of ’Spank Me Later’ is housey and jazzy alike. The atmospheric vocals and the piano make the track a true summer tune which one can either enjoy at the beach or at a club as well. It is definitely outstanding since it does not follow the usual scheme of build up, break and heavy baseline but takes the listener on an unforgettable Melodic journey. Cosmopolitan Heartthrob who was living in Paris, and is now living in Berlin was originally born in Michigan, studied in New York and had his breakthrough on Richie Hawtin’s Label minus. Jesse Siminski has releases and remixes on Minus, Underline, Contexterrior, Alphahouse, UnFoundsound, Mos Ferry, Get Physical, Wagon Repair, Tora Tora Tora, Phonocult, Esperanza and Stock amongst others. He has been hosted to play at venues such as, Mutek New York City, Fabric (London) Popkomm at Watergate (Berlin), Volt (Amsterdam) and Batofar (Paris) and is working full-time on music production and his live performance. Italian Based LUCA MORRIS, over the past 15 years has been one of the most talented DJ’s to grace the consoles of many of the best clubs in Northern Italy: Love Afterhours, Il Gatto e la Volpe (Ferrara, IT), Station c/o 909 (Padova, IT), Marab (Reggio Emilia, IT), Picchio Rosso (Modena, IT), and Fabula (Bologna, IT). In 1988 Luca Morris became the resident DJ at the most famous club in Padova, La Scala. This club profoundly marked the historical beginning of nightlife in Northern Italy. In 2002, still actively DJ’ing, Luca decided to concentrate on producing music. He soon released "Tek Studio" and launched his own label called "POLAR NOISE".

Sierra Sam is originally from Belgium, but has recently relocated to Berlin where he is also the manager for Contexterriour media. He runs, Future Dub, Tuning Spork and junion as well and as an outstanding producer who has releases on Tresor, Space factory disques, bipolar, nomor obsolete & many others, and his own label, Toys For Boys. He has gigged all over Europe & States already and played clubs like Matrix, Tresor, Silo, Fabric, Harry Klein and many other famous clubs.

TERM069 Manon "Inkulu EP" is now available on Beatport

You can also see Manon's "Inkulu" video on youtube at: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=60256864

Terminal M stands for outstanding music and proves this fact once again with Manon´s latest release “Inkulu”. It is about time Monika Kruse’s label is releasing an EP from Manon, as they’ve worked & performed together for over a decade, and bringing the other one to their home town for special events & parties. So, unsatisfied with the arbitrariness of today’s techno sound they created something different with lots of style, beauty and a high recognition value. Manon who is finally back at the forefront of Switzerland´s techno scene, teamed up to redefine your perspective of today’s techno releases. With a remix of the title track “Inkulu” by Reboot, one of Frankfurt´s finest techno producers. This release has already created such a huge hype that Loco Dice was completely stoked by it and wanted to release it on his own “Desolat” label.

Reboot´s remix is incredibly catchy and playful through the use of African instruments samples. The track will probably be ultimately stuck in hear your head as soon as the dreamy voice kicks in and takes you on a journey. Listening to this wickedly arranged track puts you in a perfect summer mood. The fresh, solid groove of this club burner doesn´t pressure you to dance but kindly offers you to feel the vibe of the summer and to move your body along with it.

Manon´s Original Mix of Inkulu appeals to all fans of innovative melodies and sounds. Manon proves her distinguished taste for unheard sound by picking a sample of the African artist Nontwintwi and by creating a completely new sound spectrum with it. “Inkulu” proves to be a nice club tune that one will frequently get to hear during the next months for sure.

Also Manon likes to play with complicated arrangements and melodies that build up energy and atmosphere and also release that energy onto the dancefloor. Her second track “Shifted” is a perfect example for all the above by playing with atmospheric melodies and fizzling noises.

Reboot aka Frank Heinrich the 30-year-old Frankfurt musician, started releasing tracks for Combi.int and i220 with his former partner Delle in the duo Delle-Heinrich. Launched only a year ago, Frank's Reboot project is so far responsible for the well-received "Charlotte" for Frankfurt's Below label as well as recent remixes for Greek duo Lemos & Kreon, on Be-Chosen and Below. Frank's most convincing arguments are his stunning live performances and his DJ-sets. For the last years Frank has been a regular feature on the electronic dance music scene in Europe playing at clubs such as Cocoon Club, Panoramabar, Club 11, Sueno, Spartacus and many more.

Manon aka Manon Maeder has been part of the Swiss techno and house scene since the early nineties. former of the In the late nineties she was already knee deep into producing and released tracks for various national compilations like “Kaufleuten” as well as international compilations like “Island – Vol.2”. Manon has played at many big name clubs and festivals like Cocoon Club, Time Warp 2007, Tresor, Hive and many more. Termina M is proud to offer her a platform for her sophisticated releases.

OUT NOW TERM064 Monika Kruse Changes of Perception 2nd Rmx E

OUT NOW: TERM064 Monika Kruse Changes of Perception 2nd Remix Edition

Next on the agenda from Monika Kruse magnificent 'Changes of Perception' project that she co-produced with Gregor Tresher is a second set of remixes from bright techno stars 2000 And One and Erman Erim.

2000 and One's interpretation of When I Woke Up has been causing a stir with the select few who have received it. A great kick-start to the EP with strong percussive rhythms and vocal cries. This unleashes 2000 and Ones original blend of cerebral house and techno and forms a perfect peaktime favorite that makes it impossible stand still: you simply MUST dance to this record!

Erman Erim's remix of 'Don't Come Close' features a brilliant dramaturgy of fresh sounds. The vocals evoke a mild, emotional atmosphere while the synth sounds provide bags of energy.

Heralding a fantastic contribution from Amsterdam based Dylan Hermelijn AKA 2000 And One. Constantly reinventing himself, Dylan has a clear musical vision and a do-it-yourself mentality that has brought him to where he is today. Lending his material to some of Amsterdam’s most renowned techno labels including Intacto, Remote Area and Area Remote, and representing a sound and a scene that have captured the hearts of so many around the world. Heavily infected by the acid house bug in the late eighties, Dylan produced his first record at age seventeen under his moniker 2000 And One. Achieving much critical acclaim from releases such as Tropical Melons, Dylan has become one of the most important Dutch artists achieving great international success. Working around his hectic tour schedule, being the zealous head of 100% Pure recordings, plus his recent artist album release 'Heritage', Dylan still insisted on doing this fantastic remix for this EP.

The second producer who is being featured on the record is number one newcomer Erman Erim. One of Terminal M family of artists, Ermans first two releases have caused quite a sensation and led him to play at the Berlin-based Berghain / Panorama Bar and the Rave On Snow Festival. Reaching ultimate perfection in production in both these reinterpretations of Monika Kruse, the leading lady of German techno, from her debut artist album 'Changes Of Perception' released in Sept 2008 co-produced with Gregor Tresher.

TERM065 Umek & Tomy DeClerque "Reason Revealed" EP out now

Hey all, we just wanted to let you know that TERM065 Umek & Tomy DeClerque "Reason Revealed 12" is available TODAY. can get it at your local record store or Terminal M's webshop:

With this record Terminal M presents the forefront of the Slovenian techno scene. Umek has been a prominent name for many years in the music business. He is popular for his skilful dj-performances and his passion for functional techno tunes. Besides that he appears being head of several labels such as 1605 - Sixteenofive, Astrodisco and Recycled Loops. For the Reason Revealed EP he joined forces with another Slovenian producer - Tomy DeClerque.

Also Tomy DeClerque is a well-known person in his home country: with his duo-project Tomy or Zox he released his first record in 1998 on the label Mantra Vibes. Only three years later he published his very successful house classic "Music Makes Me Happy" which was licensed for many prestigious compilations (e.g. Ministry Of Sound Compilation from 2002, DJ Awards at Pascha Ibiza 2002, Blanco Y Negro Mix...). Tomy had his final breakthrough when he won the Vonyc Remix Contest with an outstanding remix of Valentino Kanzyani's Nueva York, which he had made together with F. Sonik.

Since 2007 he has published numerous tracks and remixes on sundry labels, that stick out with their clear arrangement and their pumping sound. You will also notice his characteristic style on our catalog number 65 (TERM065)!

"Reason Revealed" is a functional peak-time techno tune that instantly sets your legs in motion. Containing a bombastic break, a lot of playful rhythm effects and short cuts this track provides many rhythmic accentuations.

Also the flipside is perfectly made for the nighttime party freaky-ness. "Unintended Maneuver" sounds a little bit deeper than the a-side and sets the focus on a more catchy groove. In its middle section the track grows to unexpected hugeness and offers an extreme climax that first seems not to cease - but finally the noise vanishes into the original groove. Everyone who doesn't feel like putting his hands in the air to this track must be deaf..!

The newest digital only remix on Terminal M comes from Monika Kruse herself. In her version of Umek & Tomy DeClerque's amazing "Reason Revealed" she again shows her outstanding ability of creating that certain kind of a powerful drive that people from all over the world appreciate so much about her music. The main elements of the original are still the foundation of the tune, but the break in her remix is shorter than the original one which has a good effect on the tempo of the track. With a strong bassline she creates a big climax that bursts out in the second half of the track. To describe it with three words: Techno par excellence!

TERM062 Monika Kruse Changes of Perception 1st Remix Edition

Monika Kruse gained a lot of respect with her long awaited first solo-album Changes of Perception that she co-produced with Gregor Tresher and was released last September. In Raveline's reader's poll it gained #2 in the category Best Album of 2008 and in the Groove magazine it appeared #13 of the best albums of the year! This year the "Changes of Perception" remix EPs are going to be released featuring newcomers as well as well- established artists who present their interpretations of their favorite tracks.

On the first EP Broombeck - one of the most promising newcomers at moment - brings a very groovy, powerful tune with his remix of "When I Woke Up". The subtle bassline and good handful aggressiveness form the track and for the rhythm structure he has some nice gimmicks to offer. Also the track features surprising samples and patterns that establish a strong relationship to Monika's original.

With sure instinct Mark Broom attends to the track "Don't Come Close". His version is so deep and soulful that one wishes it shall never end - which is not least an effect of Monikas dreamy voice that appears from time to time and vanishes in its own echo.

Marcus Schmahl from the city of Mainz/Germany is the man behind the pseudonym of Broombeck. Within shortest time he has become a well-respected producer having great success with his releases on Opossum, Data Punk and Big City Beats records. His track "Mono Turn" gained #8 of the Best Of Beatport 2008 Minimal charts and his records have become an inherent part of the playlists of djs like Marco Carola, Monika Kruse and Stephan Bodzin. Also he concentrates very much on his liveact and in march he will play at Sven Vath's Cocoon club in Frankfurt. And we are happy to announce he will soon be on our Terminal M booking roster.

Mark Broom has been one of the leading protagonists of the electronic music scene since many years. He is reckoned the embodiment of functional techno and contributes a lot to the sound of the genre with his label Pure Plastic that he runs together with Dave Hill. With Dave he teamed up under the pseudonym of Rue East and in 2001 they published their album "Indoor Culture" which also included the immortal piece "Birmingham". As a DJ Mark Broom has bookings around the globe and he has played at many important venues such as Fuse club in Brussels or the London-based Fabric.

TERM067 re:direct "Sambasta" EP is NOW AVAILABLE

re:direct aka Tony Matt & Sasha Carassi presents “ Sambasta ” EP

Terminal M piloted by Monika Kruse is going to take you on a journey to the Italian techno world with their latest EP “Sambasta”, where she navigates us to Italy where she again finds two very special artists Sasha Carassi and Tony Matt. These two well-established names are proud to present these strong club tracks containing male singing and futuristic sounds under the pseudonym of re:direct.

The title track instantly creates a great mood with its Latin vocals and fresh, solid grooves. Sambasta proves to be a nice club tune that one will frequently get to hear during the next months for sure.

Delete ‘n Francisco Allendes' remix of Coconut Bob will appeal to all fans of an innovative sound. For these two guys demonstrate that they have the right touch for futurism since they create a nice refreshing mix with crazy melodies and bubbling noises.

Also Carassi and Matt like to play with dissonant tunes - and allow free play to them in their track MoJiTo. The outcome is a great dance floor killer that sticks out with its weird melodies and vocal cuts.

In the original version of Coconut Bob that will be a digital only release (for now), re:direct produce an incredibly warm bass that can easily blow-dry one's hair when listening to it in higher volume. With a few freaky noises and a solid rhythmic basement on top a very diversified techno tune comes out that offers acoustic pressure in conjunction with a lot of positive energy.

Tony Matt was born in 1975 in Napoli. He became a DJ in 1993 and published his first music productions in 2001 being part of the project Body Talk. He ran his own record shop for five years and in 2005 he established his first label Kollafreak. In the same year he and his friend Sasha Carassi also gave birth to their label Globox.

Sasha Carassi also started DJ’ing in 1993. Three years later he began making his own music and soon he released his first records. Short after his first release he already did a remix for the Chicken Lips. In 2001 he got to know Tony Matt. Together they run several labels like Capsula or Qepo and in 2008 they also founded Plastic Rules and the net label Structure. Now, Terminal M is proud to have them part of their team.

TERM063 is now out instore and available here in our webshop

Patrick Lindsey is back at Terminal M! Being part of the label from the very beginning his music productions have always had big influence on the sound of Terminal M. Together with Monika Kruse he released two well-recommended albums and numerous singles.

Now he brings the next big hit with his “Tanze bei Nacht” EP (English: “dance at night”)

With both tracks he detaches himself from the current minimal trend a shows with these two brilliant fusions of deep grooves and electro-adaptation how modern techno may sound like.

The title track offers strong subliminal energy by the sustained track composition, which allows him to develop tension over a big period of time. The strong baseline makes sure that the track keeps the feet on the floor while the synth-line unfolds more and more. Coolness and playfulness come together - and this is what makes this record so attractive.

TO HEAR IT:

Seelenstrom (engl: "soul stream") holds a high anthem potential. The track title involves a certain rommanticism and this also appears in the music. Patrick Lindsey creates harmonic melodies, big breaks and he offers one or the other special from his bag of tricks. But again he always keeps a certain groove. And containing such powerful sounds this tune can't miss the desired effect: pure ecstasy!

TO HEAR IT:

Since 1994 Patrick Lindsey’s records have been released on labels like Terminal M, Frisbee Records and Harthouse - just to name a few. As a dj and live act he is very popular for his charismatic and extroverted personality. Even as a founder and head of three music labels he has always been on the go: He is one of the founders of the well-known Kanzleramt Records and he also founded School Records which appears under the name Funkwelle since January of 2007.

Played & Supported by Monika Kruse Gregor Tresher: "big new patrick lindsey release, full support of course - playing out "tanze bei nacht" everywhere!" / Marc Romboy: "I like almost all records of Patrick but this one is topping all of them. TERM059: Erman Erim "Harmonic Habitat" EP is out TODAY

Erman Erim presents his next EP “ Harmonic Habitat ”

We are proud to announce the 2nd EP on Terminal M by one of it’s new artist: Erman Erim. Now we proudly present "Harmonic Habitat EP“
Erim shows his affection for melodic techno with his track "Coldsun". It climaxes in the modulations and numerous melodic variations that lead the melody parts to many peaks, while the sub bass sets a constant groove on the track. Although it contains many peaks "Coldsun" never sounds mad or excessive. DJ's will surely get a cheer with that tune.
With "To Yield To Despair" Erman Erim shows us once again that he has the right touch for deep grooves and a certain dose of psychedelic tunes. The percussion patterns that set the rhythm on this track have a hypnotic effect through their constance . Erim skillfully completes the organic percussion sounds with a very scratchy bassline and short synth-passages that always give a big push to the track. This track is the right one for all friends of subliminal power.
Also, there's an additional digital only bonus track "Revepot" that is a must have and we'll let you self-describe it......
We think that with this follow up EP to “4 Takt” from Erman Erim’s will truly prove itself and we are pleased to announce that we have additional releases already slated in the near future.

A1: Coldsun 7:51 min.
B1: To Yeild To Despair 8:00 min.

beatport digital exclusive: Revepot 7:08 min (release digitally 12 Dec '08)

Monika Kruse Changes of Perception, part 3 is now out...

Monika Kruse 3 EP release (TERM060-6) from her upcoming first solo album "Changes of Perception" - to be released in September 2008 - shows already the bandwidth and diversity of her new long player, that she produced together with Gregor Tresher..

A1: Wackypacky
This track is an innovative mixture of different melodic and stylistic elements. It combines selected vocal cuts and percussion patterns of old-school Detroit house with a modern forward thinking music production. Also it offers a combination of three melodic themes. And it’s possible you could have made a track out of any one of the melody lines, but the combination of all three melodies makes this tune even more emotional and catchy.

B1: When I Woke Up
"When I Woke Up" expresses the confused feelings that you have the next day after a long night of partying. It contains crazy drum patterns and a simple but very strong sub-bass that builds the foundation of the track. "When I woke up, I asked myself: ----" If you want to know the answer: please wait for the BIG break....

B2: Don't Come Close:
A musical richness doesn't automatically require many sound elements. The vocals of this masterpiece and this outstanding track that is also on the forth coming album was sung by Monika Kruse herself. A shy track, just like a boy or a girl meeting for the first time that have feelings for each other. When they are unsure and their heartbeat is pumping from the exciting and they are frighten at the same time. One melody line keeps the sound vivid. Monika shows her capacity to create a song with funky bass and electro-patters. She constructs a perfect musical flow with a handful of rhythmical and melodic elements. Truly you will want to get closer to this track.

Monika Kruse Changes of Perception CD out now (TERM061-2)

Monika Kruse presents Changes of Perception, CD

Monika Kruse has gained notoriety and respect as a female at the head of her game in the dance music World. The label boss of 2 music imprints and one of Germanys most recognized and successful DJs - voted 4th Best National DJ in a poll by Germanys leading music magazine Raveline - she has been molding her sound for over 15 years. With an incredible ability to feel and guide the crowd through a unique musical path, dance floors all over the globe bubble under her feet.

Monika Kruse has turned her hand to many genres and conquered each with a unique slant, constantly developing her sound she is a versatile artist and a true musician. Her roots are in hip hop, funk and soul, yet she has dabbled in vocal and deep house and in recent years moved into techno, a testament to prove you cannot pigeon-hole her style. As you see the same things from different angles in various phases of your life, you change your perception in the course of time. This leads to a change of mind, a musical change of perspectives, a CHANGE OF PERCEPTION.

I wanted to explore new ways with this album and break through existing musical structures. Over the years my name stood for a music category in which I felt more and more restricted as an artist as well as a person. - Monika Kruse

For this album Monika teamed up with Gregor Tresher, perhaps the most successful German producer of electronic music at present and found a new musical companion. Together they produced a concept album with a range of impressive intensity, 10 tracks that create a journey and reflect the new musical direction of Monika Kruse. Monika shows her variety as producer and skilfully connects various elements and influences to produce a current and dynamic sound that is intuitive and dancefloor friendly.

From the Detroit influenced Wackypacky, to the soulful Don't Come Close on which Monika Kruse sings for the first time, to the melancholy and deep Fragile, over to spirited Latin Grooves and dance floor tools such as When I Woke Up. The title track Changes Of Perception is a masterpiece, subtly and slowly building to a purposeful climax. Spank Me Later is uncompromising and unambiguous as the word selection, the demanding acid bass line asking to abandon oneself absolutely to the rhythm and subtle vocals. Morgana is a rhythmic summer track, a perfect tool for the open air season with its warm bass line. It features the vocals of the Colombian folk singer Toto la Mompensina and ties up perfectly with Monika Kruse 2003 hit Latin Lovers.

Monika Kruse will commence a Worldwide album tour on 6 September 2008 beginning in the massive Berlin Berghain/ Panoramabar, a place close to her heart in her home of Berlin. This year she will bring her sound to many festivals such as Circle of Love alongside Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and Villalobos, Street Parade, Nature One and already playing Sonar and Space in Ibiza. Three sampler EP releases will pre-empt the CD album release appearing in May, June and August 2008.

Monika Kruse's "Changes of Perception, part 2" is now out...

Monika Kruse’s 2nd EP release from her upcoming first solo album "Changes of Perception" - to be released in September 2008 - shows already the bandwidth and diversity of her new long player, that she produced together with Gregor Tresher. Compared to Part 1 that was
released in May, Part 2 contains already 2 main tracks out of the new album. Both fantastic club tracks include very subtle vocal pieces that present an immediate listening recognition.
"Spank me later" probably needs no further explanation. Uncompromising and unambiguous as the word selection, the demanding acid bass line asking to abandon oneself absolutely to the rhythm and the subtle vocals."Morgana" meets exactly the sound of the coming season: a rhythmic summer track, with a warm bass line and the vocals of Colombian singer Totó la Momponsina (Winner the Word Music Award 2006). A
fantastic party tune for an Open Air season that links seamlessly with Monika’s 2003 hit "Latin Lovers". Morgana proofs once again, Monika Kruse’s affinity for Spanish vocals and her talent for Latin grooves – this time in a more minimal way.

"Changes of Perception" is Monika Kruse's first solo album, produced together with Gregor Tresher in various studio sessions in the winter / spring of 2007/2008. With three pre-EP's appearing in May, June and August 2008, the CD album will hit the stores on September 5th, 2008 on Terminal M - distributed Intergroove.

TERM058 - Changes of Perception, part 2 will be availably exclusive on Beatport this Friday 04 July.

Monika Kruse will start her Changes of Perception Tour in September 2008 with the Kick Off event in Berlin’s massive Berghain club.

Out now: Erman Erim – "4 Takt EP"

Hey all:

We just wanted to let you know that the latest new Terminal M release TERM057 –Erman Erman „4 Takt“ Ep is now available through our web shop and on the shelves at your local record store
(if not, tell them to order it for you....)

About TERM057-6:
The A-side is made for all the people who like quick dancing steps: "Klopfgeräusch“ (engl.: „knocking noise“) is a very vivacious tune with a very lively melody which provides many climaxes and peaks and which functions as an additional rhythm element to the agile, fluffy beats.
The B-side starts off with a much deeper tune. "Electric Food" contains low pitched vocal elements, a rumbling bassline and a bassdrum that never fails to have the desired effect when it starts again after a break. The perfect track for all those who like pumping minimalistic techno. Erman ends his EP with the spacey and powerful track "Kambrium". With this tune he has found a very special way to create tension through simple melody and sound patterns and he surprises you with an enormous noise of a constant tone sequence that appears from time to time always disappearing in a very special and surprising way. We think that with his first EP you will get a good picture of Erman Erim’s sound and we can already announce that we will release more of his music productions in the near future.

Monika present Changes Of Perception, Part 1

We are proud to announce part 1 in a series of 3, that Monika who was recently voted to the top 4 of Raveline’s National DJ’s, co-produced this with Gregor Tresher – Raveline's top producer of the year in 2006 and 2007!

The first part of the vinyl-series will be available 23 April (digitally 02 May). On the A-side "Changes of Perception Part 1" is adorned by the title track of the album. It really fits with the name since the listener gets captured by the hypnotic sound of a single wooden click at the beginning of the track, whereas in the middle of the track a dark bassline creates a great tension pushing forward in several thrusts until it almost peaks out. But just before it drifts into aggressiveness it changes it's direction like making a u-turn, eases the tension and leaves you with a ghostly click-sound which already set the tone at the beginning of the track and spreads over the whole piece.
This click also appears on the B side of Marek Hemmann's remix. But he tinkers a happy percussion line out of it. The outcome is a knotless house-track in which happiness and playfulness come together to create a deepness and dirty-ness. This houses mixture will the people in the clubs smile, thanks to the clear arrangement and the intelligent rhythm patterns it instantly stimulates you to dance.

For those who appreciate vinyl format in times of a digital age, we are releasing this collectible in a series of single (12”) spread over the coming months, building toward the final release that tie into a CD. Collectors & fans will not be disappointed because the CD will contain extra tracks not yet released on vinyl.

Monika has already made two albums titled “Monika Kruse@Voodooamt“ plus several mix-cds on Fine Audio, XXX Productions and on Terminal M. For more than eight years she heads up and organizes the charity No Historical Backspin. With that organization electronic music artists stand up against racism and raise money for the victims of right wing extremist violence.

You can pre-order the EP starting next week (16 April) on our webshop on this site.

Thanks again for the support!

OUT NOW: End-Jy "El Bazar EP" TERM049

After LUPP, Session, Corachi and recently a single on CARL COX’s label INTEC records the Belgian artist END-JY decided to produce again together with his big buddy DIMITRI ANDREAS this brand new EP for Monika Kruse’s Terminal M...
END-JY „El Bazar EP“!

END-JY and ANDREAS grow in the way they produce tracks and felt the need for more emotion in their work, a friendly happy driving mood - no sad melancholy. „El Bazar“ is one of those tracks where you can hear that there was this certain magic in the studio when composing the song. On the B side you have a typical fat minimal track “Horse Parade” (on acid. Electro lovers you’ll love it!) and for a purist like End-Jy the pure let-the-dancefloor-freak-out “La Soupe” – just kicking, electronic funk with as usual a very nice breaks.

You can pre-listen here at "releases" and also right away can be ordered in this site's "shop" section!

TERM047: Zebra Pitch OUT NOW!

Zebra Pitch aka Patrick Lindsey & Gregor Tresher Animal Rights EP
